Coastal Zone Marina, located at 1719 Pennoyer Ave, Grand Haven, MI 49417, United States. Coastal Zone Marina is a privately owned Marina located on the Grand River in Grand Haven, Michigan. It is conveniently located only 3 miles from downtown Grand Haven by boat and only 4 miles to Lake Michigan. We pride ourselves on being a quiet, clean, well-maintained and affordable place to keep your boat. There is a public boat ramp at East Grand River Park which is 0.4 miles away by car, 0.2 miles away by boat. There is no in/out service provided on site. We accommodate various types and sizes of boats ranging from kayaks and small fishing boats, to sailboats, houseboats and even tugboats! Each dock rental includes electricity, water and use of clean restrooms and showers. Off-season boat storage is offered as well on a limited basis, dependent upon available space. Coastal Zone Marina has three main floating docks that are about 75 feet in length. The slips on Dock #2 and Dock #3 are 25 ft in length. The slips in Dock #1 are 30 ft in length. The spacing (width) between each finger dock is 20 ft (allowing for 10ft of width for your boat per slip), with the exception of three slips (Dock #1, Slip 6 / Dock #2, Slip 11 / Dock#3, Slip 11) which are 17ft wide and will accommodate only one boat. The water level is typically 5 to 5.5 ft. Therefore, it is recommended that your boat have a 5 ft draft or less. The river ground is very soft and muddy. Each of the slips can comfortably accommodate boats up to 25 feet in length (or 30 feet in length for the longer slips). Larger vessels can be docked on the outer spaces of the docks (such as spot A in the diagram). Call us if you have a larger boat and we'll see if we can work out a spot for you. If not, we can point out some other nearby marinas that might. We have a total capacity of around 35 boats (depending on actual boat sizes). Boating season is West Michigan is weather dependent. Coastal Zone Marina's boat slips are open for use starting April 15th until October 15th. At Coastal Zone Marina, boat slips are reasonably priced as low as $1700 for the entire season. 30-ft boat slips are priced at $2000 for the season. Please call to confirm pricing as it may vary with the size of your boat, power requirements and actual slip location. Each boat slip comes with City Water (you provide your own hose) and electricity (15A, 110V) and access to clean, private bathrooms with showers. You will be provided a combination code to access the bathrooms. ​Parking does become crowded as the marina reaches capacity, so we ask that our guests carpool when possible and double park (one in front of the other) with other cars from your party.
