When planning your next adventure, it’s essential to know the best time of year for the optimum wind and wave conditions. In addition, it’s also nice to compare what air temperature, sea temperatures and rainfall to expect.
Every location in the PredictWind Local Knowledge feature has 10-years of average historical weather data. With this accurate information, you’re armed to make the best decisions for your next mission, either locally, or overseas.
Since launching Local Knowledge in May, we have doubled the number of locations to almost 9,000 locations! Many thanks to everyone who contributed to this PredictWind community resource. We are excited by the amazing growth of this new feature.
How do you access the historical data?

To access historical weather data you need to go to our Local Knowledge section of PredictWind at https://forecast.predictwind.com/local-knowledge
Also, have a look at this article https://www.predictwind.com/news/historical-weather-data/ and watch the video for full details.
Once you have added a location in Local Knowledge, the historical data will be available.
