About Marina Motril
Marina Motril is the recreational marina located within the Port of Motril, Granada, Andalusia, Spain. It provides facilities for visiting yachts, permanent berth holders, and cruising sailors looking for a stop on the Costa Tropical. All our moorings have free water, electricity and Wi-Fi. We have fuel pumps, where you can refuel with gasoline and diesel. We have daily weather reports provided by the State Meteorological Agency, as well as information on the state of the sea. Our radio station remains open and constantly listening on VHF channel 9 For yachts arriving internationally, sailors should coordinate arrival procedures with the port authorities or an agent before arrival. The Costa Tropical can experience changing conditions due to: Easterly winds Strong coastal winds Swell entering the harbour Navigation Notes Located inside the protected Port of Motril. Entrance has good depth and is suitable for cruising yachts. Commercial traffic (cargo and ferries) operates in the port. Contact Marina Motril before arrival, especially outside normal working hours. As with other facilities in the Port of Motril, sailors should monitor easterly wind conditions, which can affect comfort inside the harbour.
