The Tegeler See is located in Berlin's Reinickendorf district (Tegel district). With an area of ​​408 hectares, the second largest lake in Berlin after the Müggelsee is a branching lump of the Havel. It is used primarily by water sports and passenger transport enthusiasts. The maximum depth of the lake water is 16 m, the average depth 7.90 m. The proportion of banks where you can swim is small, but the lake has good water quality and is one of the waters in the city center of Berlin with the greatest depth of visibility. The Tegeler See was the first body of water in Berlin to achieve EU quality class II. In Tegeler See (from north to south) are the islands of Hasselwerder, Lindwerder, Scharfenberg, Reiswerder, Baumwerder, Valentinswerder and Maienwerder. Without raising the mast, we reached the south to Wasserstadt Spandau. If you want to go to Unterhavel, Wannsee or Elbe, you can use the Spandau lock with the mast down.
