About Arklow Marina

Arklow is a popular fishing and seaport situated at the entrance to the river Avoca. The town has a big reputation with seafaring and the maritime industry. Arklow Marina is situated on the North Bank of the river, upstream of the commercial quays. The marina has 42 berths in the inner basin and a further 30 berths on river side pontoons. Visitors and vessels over 12m are advised to berth on the riverside pontoons. The port is a day’s sail from Dublin, Greystones, Kilmore, Holyhead, Pwllheli and Millford Haven. The town’s location is ideally placed for visiting many beauty spots in Co. Wicklow, known as the Garden of Ireland. The town is well served by public transport for those venturing northward to Dublin Airport, Dublin Ferryport, Dublin City centre or southwards to Wexford town centre and Rosslare Ferry port – these destinations are less than 2 hours travel by bus/train. On-site marina services provide for security, hard standing, cranage, power, fresh water, toilet and shower facilities. Other services such as fuel, gas, chandlery and provisions are all within a short distance of the Marina facility. Adjacent to the marina is Arklow Sailing Club and its facilities, and Bridgewater Shopping Centre which has all your shopping needs including ATM, restaurants, pharmacy, internet facilities and a multi-cinema complex. The town’s main street with its many public houses is 250m from the Marina. Onshore activities include golfing and cycling.
