About Marina Di Rimini
Rimini Marina, Tourist Port and Dock in Emilia-Romagna The Marina di Rimini has been listed by industry experts as one of the most beautiful and avant - garde marinas in the whole Mediterranean With its 622 seats and a stretch of water that exceeds 100,000 square meters, it is the new jewel of the Adriatic, frequented by lovers of sailing and pleasure boating. It is accessed through the old canal port which allows boats to enter in any sea condition. The seabed is 4 meters above sea level and the tide has an average excursion of about 63 cm, therefore also suitable for large boats. There is also a large storage area and a 100-ton overhead crane for hauling and launching boats and for repairing hulls, sails and on-board equipment. The Marina basin is equipped with a forced water recycling system made by Whallinford, a British company that is a world leader in water purification. A powerful pump takes a large amount of water from the sea which is left to settle in a huge tank at the entrance to the Marina. The water is then channeled into large pipes that surround it, positioned on the seabed. Three powerful pumps convey 1,200 liters of water per minute into the basin. This system is able to ensure the exchange of water in just 72 hours.
