About Bud'n Mary's Fishing Marina
Bud n’ Mary’s Fishing Marina offers a limited amount of transient (short-term) boat dockage, providing direct ocean access for boats with a maximum draft of 4.5 feet and up to 45 feet in length. The channel leading to the marina is relatively narrow, with a rock jetty on the northeast side and a “flat” on the southwest side. Navigating the channel requires careful attention due to the presence of a hard bottom on both sides. For those looking to access Florida Bay, there is direct entry via the Tea Table Relief bridge, suitable for skiffs, small centre consoles, and bay boats. The bridge typically offers 6 to 8 feet of clearance, although during extreme high tides, clearance can be reduced to 5.5 feet. Just under 2 miles south lies the Indian Key Bridge, boasting over 20 feet of clearance, making it suitable for a variety of vessels, especially those engaged in recreational fishing. Islamorada is known as the Sportfishing Capital of the World.
