The Borough of Atlantic Highlands Municipal Marina is located inside the protected basin at Atlantic Highlands Inlet, on the south side of Sandy Hook Bay. It is one of the primary public marinas in the area and provides convenient access to open water while remaining well sheltered by the breakwater. Facilities & Services: Transient and seasonal berths Floating docks with water and electricity Fuel dock (gasoline and diesel) Pump-out station Restrooms and showers Ice and basic marine supplies Waste disposal Launch ramp nearby Capacity & Vessel Support: Suitable for a wide range of recreational vessels Accommodates small to mid-size boats Nearby facilities in the basin offer haul-out and repair services, including mobile lifts (up to ~50 tons) Usage: Popular with pleasure craft and fishing boats Serves as a departure point for trips into Sandy Hook Bay and the Atlantic Ocean Navigation Notes: Access via a well-marked channel with lights and buoys The basin is well protected in most weather conditions Exercise caution near the west entrance, where submerged pilings and old structures may be present
