River Bend Marina

River Bend Marina is a great looking place to launch your boat. There are two main ramps that are wide enough to allow the novice boat trailer backing driver ample opportunity and room to learn and more so launch their boat with very little manoeuvring. I have to say I was really impressed with the layout of the Marina and the parking lot has plenty of open parking spaces. I give it a five even though I picked up a semi-round piece of metal that caused a flat tire which was taken care of down the road at the city of New Bern. I can't blame the ramp for something that they had no control over. Everything looked great the deck had beautiful cedar color flooring. Exterior bathrooms available year round. The ramps were not as steep of a grade as most are. Also, the ramps are cement well out in the water and dropping off or picking up your boat will not be a problem.
