Welcome. Ninigret Pond has been home to this marina, boatyard & shellfish spot for over 60 years. Located in Charlestown, Rhode Island, Ninigret Landing (formerly known as Lavin’s) affords ocean access in a beautiful salt pond setting. We offer over 60 seasonal and transient slips with fresh water, boatyard storage & service, a fuel dock, and outdoor hot water shower area, and straight-forward boating support for fishermen, tourists and locals alike. The Landing also offers two cottages available for rental. Ninigret Landing also offers custom dock building and repairs within the greater Charlestown, RI area, and because all the key equipment is in-house, our custom repair specialists can mobilize quickly. Do you need your mooring repaired, re-aligned or inspected? We also offer mooring services within the community and are happy to discuss any unique off-site marine docking repairs with you. HOURS July 1 – Labor Day 7 days 8am-4pm April 15 – June 30 & Labor Day – Columbus Day Mon-Fri 8am-4pm Sat & Sun 7am-12noon* Stay tuned for details about our low-key, private 900 square foot entertaining/event space with a waterfront deck, hardwood floors, private bathroom, tables, refrigeration, sinks, and spectacular views. This place may be rented for casual cocktail parties, business events and family gatherings. Bring in your own caterer and, if you like, enjoy experiencing ultra-local oysters, pulled out of the waters just a few dozen yards away and shucked by the oyster farmers themselves.
