Dock Street Marina’s unique aesthetic and location make it the leading destination marina on the Puget Sound. Publicly commissioned in 2005, Dock Street Marina provides first-class services and year-round guest moorage and permanent moorage for boats large and small. Its topnotch facilities and services are sited in the midst of a lively metropolitan core that is home to a thriving art community. Dock Street Marina’s on-site kayak and stand up paddle board (SUP) rentals are another relaxing way to explore the protected waterway with many places to stop, rest, and discover all the city has to offer. The marina’s location, in the thick of Tacoma’s revitalized downtown, offers a superb entry into Tacoma’s noted arts and museum district, numerous excellent dining choices, active nightlife, delightful shopping and antiquing, Thursday Farmers Market (in season), and much more. Our friendly staff will help suggest and arrange for a multitude of experiences, depending upon your personal taste. Dock Street Marina’s facilities and docks are meticulously maintained, with concrete docks and beautifully landscaped grounds along the Thea Foss Esplanade. The marina is a Certified Clean Marina with a five-star Envirostars rating. We take pride in providing the highest level of customer care for our guests as well as maintaining our docks and facilities. Marine Services/Pump Out Facility Information Dock Street Marina offers slip-side pump outs, open year-round, 7 days a week, during daylight hours. A $5.00 fee is charged per tank pumped. MOORAGE Dock Street Marina offers guest moorage and permanent moorage. Moorage at Dock Street Marina includes our signature concierge customer service, complimentary amenities like free showers and cable, and many other conveniences to make your stay more enjoyable. Guest Moorage Guest moorage is available year round for individual boaters as well as yacht clubs. We offer line assistance upon arrival, complimentary cable TV, clean showers and restrooms, slip-side pump outs, and garbage/recycling service. Hourly moorage MAY be available, $20 for up to a 4 hour stay. Please call to confirm before showing up.
