About Bootswerft Hartmann

In 1972, Karl Hartmann laid the foundation stone for a traditional craft business. The one-man operation of the early years has become one of the largest privately run shipyards on the Austrian shores of Lake Constance. Located directly in the Harder harbour, we have been the contact for our customers for all work on the boat for decades. The Hard Yacht Club was founded in 1926 by boating enthusiasts on the occasion of the laying of the "Ostner" keel as the HSC Harder Yacht Club. The construction of its own jetty in 1975 and its own clubhouse in 1983 allowed the YCH to continually develop. As a permanent organizer of regattas, the YCH has also earned international recognition. The most recent highlight was the 2010 European Match Race Open and Women's Championships. The Yacht Club Bregenz marina offers protection against all winds for approximately 130 boats. Due to the layout of the dock, the port offers plenty of room for manoeuvres.
