About Hotel Marina Kornati

The hotel marina is located in the center of the city of Biograd as part of Ilirija's hotels: Kornati, Ilirija and Adriatic. It is ideal for guests who want to spend their vacation enjoying the discovery of nearby golden coves and wooded islands. The hotel marina was built in 1974 in the very center of Biograd n/M, in front of Hotel Kornati and Hotel Ilirija. In 2000, wooden piers were replaced by concrete ones, offering 16 A (single phase) electricity and water (2-4 bars) connections. The hotel marina is guarded 24 hours a day, sanitary facilities are within the Hotel Kornati and it can be used exclusively by the guests of hotel marina. The hotel marina has 100 berths for motor boats with the length up to 8.50 m and the maximum depth is 2.5 m. Maintenance services can be provided at the Kornati marina. MARINA Marina Vitrenjak (Uskok)

MARINA Marina Vitrenjak (Uskok) Marina Vitrenjak, or sometimes referred to as Marina Uskok, is located in Zadar, the oldest town in Croatia, which lies in the central part of the Adriatic Coast of Croatia, in North Dalmatia. Zadar is approximately 160 km north of Split and 290 km south of Rijeka, and together with Dubrovnik constitutes Croatia’s four major harbours. It is also one of the most popular tourist destinations in Croatia. Situated half a mile north of the Zadar harbour, and 400 m S of Marina Borik, Marina Vitrenjak provides an excellent shelter from all winds. It is located approximately 3 km, or 15-minute walk, from the town centre. The marina is run by Uskok sailing club. Many local professional sailors gather and moor their boats here. Visiting yachts are welcome if there is available space. The marina is open all year round. The busiest time of the season is in July and August when the marina is often fully booked. Marina Vitrenjak has seven concrete piers with 505 wet berths and 50 dry berths, all of which are equipped with water and electricity. It can accommodate boats and yachts up to 20 m in length. Sea depth in the marina ranges from 1.5 m at the foot of the piers to 4 m at the head. Depth at the entrance of the marina is 12 m.

ACI Marina Šimuni

ACI Marina Šimuni is situated in the west of Pag Island, in the Maun Channel. It can perhaps be considered to be the north entrance to Dalmatia, as it is the last marina in the Kvarner archipelago. Pag’s seemingly inhospitable landscape offers a different picture to what is usually seen elsewhere in the Adriatic islands – the colours are different here, the rocks’ structure is more peculiar, and the sun shines almost all the year round. A keen-eyed visitor will discover a veritable treasure-trove of history, culture, and food, as well as all the little things which the hard-working islanders toiled to create in order to survive in a unique environment – and to make it comfortable to live in. Approach In daytime a chapel to the southeast of the village serves as a landmark, and during the night the approach is marked by a green lighthouse on the southern tip of the entrance (Fl G 3s 7m 3M). The exact position of the lighthouse is 44°27.8’ N 14°57.5’ E. After passing the lighthouse, keep to the middle of the channel until the marina is sighted. There is a shoal on the western side of the entrance to the marina, and therefore the middle of the bay should be kept to when entering it. PORT marina Zverinac

Zverinac is a small island in the Zadar Archipelago, situated a mile from the NE coast of Dugi Otok Island, and almost two miles W of Sestrunj Island. The only settlement on the island is the village of Zverinac, situated on the W coast of the island, opposite the village of Božava on the island of Dugi Otok. Zverinac is an interesting destination to boaters for its secluded location and beautiful surroundings. The harbour of Zverinac offers good shelter from all winds but is exposed to strong and dangerous S winds (jugo). Zverinac Port has four jetties (32, 42, 60 and 28 metres long) where visiting yachts can moor. The berths on the inside part of the jetties offer some protection from the S winds (if they are not too strong). The northernmost of the three jetties, where the water is 8 m deep, has laid moorings for 6-8 yachts. Water and electricity and laid moorings are provided only on some jetties. There is a shop and a restaurant in the village of Zverinac. Other facilities such as an ambulance, post office, seasonal port of entry, small farmer’s market, few shops and restaurants are available in the nearby town of Božava on Dugi Otok (2 nm). The nearest fuel station is in Preko on Ugljan Island, approximately 17 nm from Zverinac. The nearest general hospital and airport is in Zadar. Zverinac is connected to other nearby islands and the mainland by ferry from Zadar. It takes about 2 and a half hours from Zadar to Zverinac.

Luka Brgulje

Brgulje lies around two miles NW of Molat Town and half a mile inland from a tiny harbour and mooring buoy field sheltered from W by the small island of Bruglje Otok. The harbour is too shallow for yachts, but the municipality has laid 17 mooring lines on the outside of the N breakwater for visiting yachts. Depths here are barely 2.0 metres, so it is best to go bows-to if using these. There is water and electricity on the breakwater, and toilets and showers are available. Alternatively, pick up one of the 92 mooring buoys that have been installed between the harbour and the island of Brgulje Otok in depths of 4.0 - 6.0 metres. There are no facilities on the buoys, although refuse is collected. Charges on the mooring lines (November 2012) are Euros 2.2 per metre including water, electricity, toilets and showers and on the buoys Euros 1.91 per metre including refuse collection. Shelter here is good in all but S winds. The port of Brgulje covers 15,496 m2, of which the land area is 2,194 m2, and the sea area is 13,302 m2. The port of Brgulje has an operational part of the port which consists of an operational pier with a plateau 48 m long. The port of Brgulje has a nautical part of the port located on the outside of the pier, 63 m long. The rest of the port of Brgulje is intended for communal communication.

Sveti Andrija Marina

Sveti Andrija is an island lying on the open sea, surrounded by great depths and a clean and clear sea. Dives into the clear blue depths off “the Saint”, as the locals call this island, is an unforgettable experience. Artificial lighting is not necessary as sunlight penetrates into the depths. It lies 9 nm northwest of Komiža on Vis and its untouched beauty is the fibre of many a legend. One of them claims that it is an island with the most underwater caves and passages, the realm of the Mediterranean monk seal, one of the true inhabitants and mistresses of this underwater world. The cave is on the south side of the island, near the mooring. Diving tips Larger vessels can enter the cave’s hall in search of refuge from oncoming storms. At 6 m there is a 15 m tunnel leading to a sunken cave measuring 50 m in length, which has an exit zone at its furthest end. A ray of light indicates the exit zone. Marine life Sponge crabs and squat lobsters are found at the entrance zone; in deeper crevices various types of shrimp, notably the antennae shrimp and helmet shell. Life forms in the cave and hall are scarce.

Most berths are occupied by local vessels (municipal berth), and over 10 are available for transit traffic. We enter the port from the west or northwest. There are no specialties when sailing from the northwest, but when sailing from the west we must pay attention to the shallows on Cape Podvara. If you do not find a free berth in the port, you can anchor northeast or west of the port at depths between 2 and 5. Southwest of the port are the remains of an old fortress. The depth of the sea south of the fort is below 1 m, and in other directions from 2-3 m, and they are suitable for anchoring. There is sand at the bottom and the anchor holds up well. The nearest petrol station is in the marina Dalmacija, which is only 0.7 nmi north of the port. There are many inns, shops and bars nearby.

There is a restaurant and shop in the port, which is open from 07:00 to 11:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00.

The vessel can be moored to one of the 17 buoys or laterally to the concrete shore in the eastern part of the port. When mooring at one of the 10 buoys in the northern part of the port, it is necessary to moor the stern of the vessel with a rope to shore. The rope is already installed on the buoy.
