Bay of Islands Marina is a full service, 400-berth facility on the threshold of one of New Zealand’s premier marine playgrounds. It’s an ideal place to call home. Rest and recharge in this peaceful spot with your boat safely tucked into a world-class marina facility, protected from the ocean swells by the 144 island gems that give the bay its Bay of Islands Marina is in Port Opua, the primary port of entry to New Zealand for yachties arriving in New Zealand from the Pacific. It boasts a safe, well-marked and easy approach by both day and night, with customs and quarantine berths conveniently situated on the outer breakwater of the marina. Recently expanded, the marina has a range of berths available for both long and short-term lease. There are hot showers, pump-out facilities, a diesel fuel dock, wi-fi and postal services, and live-aboards are very welcome. The adjacent Port Opua Marina Park is home to a wide array of marine services – all within walking distance. These include travel lift haul-out and hardstand, catamaran haul-out, boat builders and riggers, painters, refrigeration, mechanics, electronics, chandlery, car hire, insurance and boat brokers, storage facilities, a laundry, a cafe and a hairdresser. Opua is located five minutes by road from Paihia, the heart of the Bay of Islands. It is 20 minutes from Kerikeri and Bay of Islands Airport, and just short water crossing from historic Russell. The Kerikeri Cruising Club and Marina are located at the entrance to the Kerikeri Inlet on the doorstep of the Bay of Islands. Has facilities include a 193 berth marina, boat launching ramp, diesel fuel jetty, short term haulout facility, showers and laundry facility. We host year-round keelboat racing and have an active centreboard fleet. Our clubhouse and bar with their panoramic water views can be hired for weddings & other private events.

Riverside Drive Marina Haulout and Hardstand Riverside Drive Marina is a hardstand, haul out, complete working marina nestled in the sheltered waters of the Hatea River just minutes from downtown Whangarei. Riverside Drive Marina has been operating since 1976. Blending know-how and experience together, the team offer a comfortable, affordable home base for your stay in New Zealand. Reservations are accepted for those wanting to plan ahead. Convenient on-site marine services, floating berths, numerous marina amenities, and a short walk to town make the decision to stay at RDM an easy choice. For many yachties, it becomes a place to make boat repairs and re-energize before continuing their journey.
