About Porto de Moaña

ADDRESS CP San Martín de Moaña Concepción Arenal, s/n Moana Phone: +34 986 314 100 Fax: +34 986 310 309 The fishing port is located north of the Ría de Vigo, at the western end of the town of Moaña. In this port, there is great interest in fixed bench rowing (Municipal Sailing School, San Xoán de Tirán Rowing Club). Moaña is the starting point for excursions through the O Morrazo peninsula. In this town stands the beautiful Romanesque church of San Martiño. A visit to Monte Faro Domaio is a must, with a splendid viewpoint, in whose surroundings there are archaeological remains. On the northern slope are the Cotorredondo viewpoint, the Castiñeiras lake and the Mámoa do Rei dolmen. Communications and access Nearest airport: Peinador (Vigo); tel. 34 986 268 600. Others: Lavacolla (Santiago); tel. 34 981 597 400. Maritime communications: Passenger line with Vigo. Nearest Renfe stations: Vigo and Pontevedra. Sea entry At the eastern end of Moaña, the navigator will find the San Bartolomé de Meira cove and at the western end the port of Moaña. The floating nurseries will be the only obstacle, if we follow the entrance channel, although in this Vigo estuary, it is more evident that the reorganization of areas was carried out not long ago. From the centre of the channel - sailing towards the Guide - and when we have the Vigo Maritime Station on the way, we can reach the tip of the breakwater that protects the port of Moaña. South Zone - Pontevedra: Calle Víctor Said Armesto, 1, 1º y 2º - 36002 Pontevedra Email: zonasur@portosdegalicia.com Telephone: 886 159 290
