About Monk Meadow
Located within a mile of Gloucester City Centre, the Basin at Monk Meadow was opened in 1892 originally to provide quay-space for the timber trade. It now serves as an off-line marina and lies close to local shops and amenities, as well as the fascinating Gloucester Waterways Museum. The layout of the moorings allows for small and large craft, with berth sizes at 8m, 18.5m and 20m in length. With 40 berths, it is one of our largest sites in the South West of England.
