Knotty Oar Marina

Knotty Oar Marina is located on Prior Lake, in Prior Lake, Minnesota, owned by Thane Tande. ​The Knotty Oar Marina maintains 110 watercraft slips. We take pride in the safety of our customers’ boats with locking gates and a state-of-the-art camera security system. In addition, we donate two slips to the Scott County water patrol to continue making Prior Lake a safe place for boaters. Slip customers enjoy all of our marine services and amenities as well as use of the Knotty Oar Marina private island: Reed’s Island on Lower Prior Lake. This 2 acre island is excellent for camping, bonfires, swimming, having a picnic or simply relaxing with family and friends. ​ Our season runs from April 15th to October 15th. We are fortunate to consistently maintain an extensive wait list for our slips. All boat slips are currently full and we are not accepting waitlist additions.
