PWAi
Hourly precision
Our propriety model PWAi (PredictWind AI):Combines the strengths of ECMWF, AIFS, Fengwu, and GraphCast to generate a single, optimised forecast covering the globe. It provides 1-hour time steps for the first 3 days, giving greater time-step precision than other AI models. PWAi performs very well in validation studies where it does a great job in the short to medium term over larger-scale areas. It will be a key model to compare for consensus with the others in the PredictWind model suite.
AIFS
Long-Range Clarity
The ECMWF AIFS model uses advanced AI to deliver fast, accurate global forecasts. It performs well offshore, capturing large-scale weather patterns over in the medium-longer term, giving mariners a clear, data-driven view of changing conditions.
ICON
Local Detail, Optimised for Europe
The German Weather Service's global model, known for high-resolution accuracy in Europe and now available worldwide.

All round trend consensus, and accuracy.
Strengths
Combines strengths of 4 major AI models. 1-hour time-steps for first 3 days. Performs very well in validation. Strong short to medium-range stability offshore.
Limitations
Lower spatial detail near coasts, new model.
