About Port de plaisance de Gravelines - VAUBAN BASIN
Gravelines is located halfway between Dunkirk and Calais and keeps its ancient fortifications from its past, with the enhancement of its military heritage very well restored. This fortified military heritage is now used intelligently, like the Museum of Etchings and Engravings, installed in the old former power magazine. Its marina harbour is composed by the three sites, grouping 430 berths. The first site is the "Bassin Vauban" anchored at the foot of the old fortified site with 200 berths including 25 visitors berths, the second site located at the "Quai des Islandais" with 152 beths and at the site "Anse des Espagnols" located next the the seaside with 78 berths. The access conditions of the departmental harbour of Gravelines and Grand-Fort-Philippe are included in the official sailing instructions.
