About Port d'Illa de Mar
Small fishing port between Ampolla and Riumar. Mainly oysters and mussels are landed here. From here you can take a boat to a chiringuito off the coast, where you can get delicious freshly caught oysters. The access is possible from Ampolla as well as from Deltebre. The Port Illa de Mar is a natural environment with shallow and calm waters, where the typical flora of the riverbank predominates. The flora is rich in nutrients due to the fauna that lives in the area. It is an ideal place in the interior of the Badia del Fangar. It stands out for the nesting of birds in the Ebro Delta; therefore, it is ideal for observing them.
