Watersportvereniging Wassenaar

Welcome passersby! Passersby are welcome at the Wassenaar Watersports Association. The association has two ports. The outer harbour in the old Wassenaar village centre and the "new" inner harbour in the Wassenaar Zijl Watering. The Wassenaarse Zijl Watering opens onto the Oude Rijn, which flows into Katwijk and Leiden. You can tie in a free place. You will find the port office next to the buildings. The port captain is indicated on the door. Facilities The port area is surrounded by a fence and equipped with a camera system (CCTV). You can always leave the harbor area on foot or by bike through the little gate. You need a numeric code to open the little door from the outside. The association has toilets and showers. There is also a laundry room with a washer and dryer. We also have a cistern where chemical toilets can be emptied and there is a sewage station. Free drinking water is available at the docks. The Wi-Fi connection can be used completely free of charge. Snacks and drinks are served in the canteen. Opening hours are indicated at the entrance. In Wassenaar, there is a small but cosy centre where you can enjoy shopping. At 600 meters from the port, there are 2 large supermarkets (AH and Aldi) with many options. If you have children on board, you must visit Duinrell amusement park. You can visit Wassenaarse Slag Beach by bus or bike. If you want to go out to eat, Wassenaar has some good restaurants within its borders.
