About The Crannagh

The Cranagh Marina offers over 200m of pontoons and has a large number of deep water moorings (Up to 3m at Equinoxal Lows). With electricity and water available on both sides of the marina, and the onsite restaurant, activity centre and watersports shop it is the best serviced marina in the Bann Estuary.

Seatons Marina

At present we accommodate about 50 boats. Our regular yachts and motor boats range from 18ft up to about 40ft. Most of these are on pontoon berths, as well as a number on fore and aft moorings, ashore, or here for winter storage only. We also have many smaller motor boats. Our pontoons are equipped with water and power, and our customer area has facilities for making tea and coffee, as well as a shower and toilet. We are tidal, so it’s a good idea to check the state of the tide if you plan to use the slipway.

The Marina & Harbour Site is staffed 24 hours a day and maintains a listening watch on Channel 80/M2. All vessels are asked to call prior to entering or leaving the marina and harbour basins. Marina staff also regularly patrol the site. Town Centre, a short 5 minute walk from the Marina and Harbour Complex.

Portglenone Marina

The Marina at Portglenone is situated off the Gortgole Road on the banks of the River Bann, about 9 miles west of Ballymena. In addition to the 30 berths, the facility also provides a trailer park, slipway rigging area, canoe steps, pump out facility, security fencing, car park, camping area and picnic areas overlooking the river. The entrance to the site is open from 7.00am each morning and is closed at dusk.

You can explore the 154sq miles of Lough Neagh, the UK’s largest inland waterway, safe in the knowledge that you are covered by coastguard and Lough Neagh’s very own lifeboat service, Lough Neagh Rescue. The site offers 180 fully sheltered berths, with deep and shallow water access for vessels drawing less than 1.55 meters. Foyle Port Marina is situated on the north coast of Ireland at the centre of Londonderry, a.k.a. Derry city, located nineteen miles inland on the River Foyle and reached through the Lough Foyle estuary. It provides pontoon berths adjacent to all the facilities of Northern Ireland’s second largest city Petrol and diesel at a nearby filling station by Jerry can Electricity and water included in mooring fees for visitors . Foyle Port Marina provides complete protection and shelter from all conditions. The well-marked commercial shipping channel, supported by a lighthouse with sectored light, provides safe access in all reasonable conditions, night and day. Although tidal streams are occasionally strong they abate as a vessel progresses inside the Lough making the pontoon approachable at all states of the tide.
