About PNSY - The Back Channel Marina
MWR maintains two marina facilities at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Sound Basin and the Back Channel. Rental slips and moorings are available by the season to active duty, retired military and employees of the shipyard. The Sound Basin Marina has 70 slips and 62 deep water moorings and offers a transient pier and peirside water. The Back Channel Marina has 68 slips and 18 deep water moorings and offers a transient pier and pierside water and electricity.
