About Lou's Boat Basin, Kingston
Established in the early 1950's, Louis and Rose Roberti saw an opportunity to make a future for their family by purchasing property on the Rondout Creek. They built and ran Lou's Boat Basin successfully for many years. After the death of Louis and Rose, their son Louis Roberti aka "Big Lou" took over the reigns for the next generation earning himself a legendary reputation on the Rondout Creek as good man and friend.
