About Deer Harbor Marina
Located on Orcas Island, WA, has long been a destination and way point for boaters and travellers of the Pacific Northwest. As those who have spent time at Deer Harbor would attest, this beautiful marina centrally located in the San Juan Islands is an ideal destination or cruising base for the islands. Deer Harbor has modern dock facilities with side ties up to 110’, a full service grocery store and restaurant; including beer and wine sales, as well as a convenient fuel dock and pump-out facilities Offseason Nightly Moorage During the offseason due to limited staff, we are on a first come, first served basis. Please hail us on VHF 78a for a slip assignment during our business hours. ANCHORING There is good anchorage in the harbor, however... Anchoring Warning! There is a sunken boat that snags anchors that is not marked on charts. Opposite us in the harbor is a cliff, marked on charts as Steep Point. If you are under the cliff on the west side of the harbor and looking east see the end of D-Dock, our southernmost dock, that is a risky place to drop anchor. We recommend moving north of D-Dock or south of the fuel dock to be safe.
