Hanstholm Havn

Hanstholm Harbor is one of Denmark's largest fishing ports and houses Denmark's largest fish auction, which sells more than 40,000 tones of edible fish every year. In order to ensure the port's continued development, in recent years there has been a need for a major upgrade of the port's facilities, and therefore since 2017 the Port of Hanstholm has undergone a major port expansion to the tune of DKK 650 million, which has added new outer piers, increased water depth, more quay area, an additional harbor basin and a large hinterland area. The Port of Hanstholm is currently on a major growth journey, where the vision is to become Denmark's leading port in the trade, processing and breeding of fish - and at the same time Europe's first CO2-neutral fishing port.
