Welcome to us in pleasant Høybakken. Høybakken boat association has a marina and guest pier in the idyllic Høybakken in Ørland municipality at Fosen in Trøndelag.

The marina got its own clubhouse with sanitary rooms, cladding and barbecue facilities in 2010. The clubhouse is open 24 hours a day during the holidays and has garnered much praise from visiting boaters. In the summer of 2017, old jetty equipment was replaced in the harbor. We got a brand new pier and several new guest piers. We welcome our guests to new and more guest seats. about 14 km to the nearest: Grocery stores, pharmacy, post office, police, bank, café, indoor sports hall, bowling, gas station, plumber, electrician, doctor, bed & breakfast A ferry is located in the harbor and the ferry crew is happy to answer questions about things and seaweed . Sailing The harbor with entrance is a little difficult to spot, from the main pier. A ferry is located at the port and has departures in the morning and afternoon. There are only 4 cable lengths from the main pier and into the harbor. Wind conditions A bit "tiring" when there is wind from NE in the summer. A good idea to call Havnevert before arrival then. Port depth At the guest pier it is 2.5 meters, otherwise in the harbor it is 3.5 meters. There is about a 2.5 meter difference between high and low tide. The tide table is posted in the clubhouse. esthagan Marina Hesthagan Marina (Sandstad marina) is located by Hesthagan Hyttefelt, 11 km from Åfjord center. The marina is for boats up to approx. 30 feet and depth up to about 70 cm. The harbor has easy access to fresh water and electricity. In connection with the facility, there is a large parking lot with lights, the possibility of setting up a boathouse and a launching ramp in concrete. A barbecue boathouse has also been set up in connection with the harbor. The harbor is video-surveilled and approved for safety discounts in the Norwegian Sea. Hesthagan Båtforenin g Everyone with the right to a berth in Hesthagan Marina is obliged to be a member of Hes thagan Boat Association. Members of the boating association also have collective membership in the Royal Norwegian Boating Association. Pleasure boats need good care, service and maintenance. We help you with your boat! We perform service and maintenance of all types of leisure boats, both boats with inboard and outboard engines, and of course sailboats. With a boat lift and mobile crane, boats of all sizes (up to 40 meters / 400 tons) are lifted gently and efficiently ashore for service, maintenance or winter storage . We are an approved service workshop for Volvo Penta, Yanmar and Yamaha, and also perform service on other brands. Bottom lubrication and other surface treatment are performed with products from Hempel and Jotun. We perform most of the rehabilitation after hull and sink damage, both in fiberglass, plastic, steel and aluminum. 100 meters floating jetty well sheltered from the weather makes it easy to visit us, and the boat is safe.
