Marina d'Angra has held the European Blue Flag since 2006. PROHIBITED Angra do Heroísmo is located on the south coast of Terceira Island. During the day, Monte Brasil is a reference. At night, if the approach is from W, the Monte Brasil lighthouse is only visible from the marking 057º. The marina is located in the eastern part of the bay protected by a breakwater.
