The Lingehaven

Many visitors describe the Lingehaven as the surprise of the fortress. Those who enter the harbor through the narrow Linge lock will know why. The passers-by pass through the picturesque old city center: from the lock to Korenbrug. This makes the port accessible from the Merwede on one side and from Linge, the Merwede Canal and the Steenenhoek Canal on the other.
