Payment envelopes and the drop slot are available at the harbormaster shack located at the head of the ramp. The Coffman Cove harbor underwent a major expansion in 2010/2011. Presently, it has 60 moorage slips and 180 feet of transient moorage. Fresh water and power are accessible through AP&T. The drive-down ramp makes it convenient to load and unload freight and supplies. There is a fish cleaning float with boat access, and a bathroom is available. The harbor is located in the heart of downtown Coffman Cove. All the liquids are available under one roof at Rain Country Liquor, the Dog House Pub, and the office of R and R Fuels. Although there is no fuel dock available, the friendly owners of the business will run a hose to your boat or deliver diesel by dock cart in 5-gallon cans. A short walk from the docks, there is an excellent coin-operated laundry at the Ocean View RV Park. Other services include an ATM, a clinic, emergency medical services, a float plane dock, and new monthly car ferry service to South Mitkoff Island. Public phones are available in Coffman Cove since there is no cell service. Dial 83 to use a prepaid card or 85 to use a credit card. Free calls can be made for the weather (81), commercial fishing safety reports (82), emergency spill (84), and to reserve a forest service cabin (86) or a place on the ferry (87). The Coffman Cove Library offers free wireless internet around the clock. It is staffed by an AmeriCorps volunteer under a program to bring more digital services to small Alaskan communities.
