If coming from north of Cape Cod, after passing through the Cape Cod Canal Kingman Yacht Center is a convenient spot on your way to other points south. Red Brook Harbor is an easy one day passage to the islands of Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard as well as lesser known Cuttyhunk, at the end of the Elizabeth Islands. With a power boat or a bit more time under sail, even Newport or Block Island are realistic landfalls. Heading north, KYC is the perfect place to fuel up and provision before heading through the canal.
