Shannon Sailing Marina is a private, fully serviced marina on Lough Derg, Ireland’s largest freshwater lake. Our secure and well sheltered harbour complex is in the village of Dromineer, Co Tipperary. We have a private 80+ berth marina with on-site boat & trailer storage, private car park, swinging moorings, slipway, diesel pump and pump-out facilities within our gated site

Foynes Yacht Club Pontoon

One big pontoon with unsecured access to shore. Cost is 15 euros for any size of boat. There is a nice club house for Foynes Yacht Club, which I was generously encouraged to visit, with a nice bar and good views of the racing. Strong tides, Foynes Yacht Club have recently installed a brand new pontoon and can offer a limited number of spaces for a short term stop over to boats travelling up or down the Shannon Estuary. Water and Electricity are both available on the pontoon and shower facilities are available in the club house. Due to the limited number of spaces, booking is essential.
