There are some noteworthy villas, including the famous Villa Pliniana, near the tip, which has hosted many famous people over the centuries. The port is located in front of the town center square, in a favorably sheltered position from the north. Inside there are places in the water, at the traps, and in the steps for small boats. It should be noted the presence, 150 meters south-east of the present structure, of a large floating dock of recent construction.
