About KEAUHOU HARBOR
Keauhou Bay is a historic area located eight miles south of Kailua-Kona in the Kona District of the Big Island of Hawaii. The name Keauhou comes from the Hawaiian language and means "the new era". The area is home to several petroglyphs and a Heiau which can be found at Keauhou Harbor. The Keauhou Harbor Resort area comprises the Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa at Keauhou Bay, the 22.9-acre Keauhou Shopping Center, two golf courses, timeshare, residential and resort condominiums. The area offers several exciting activities such as snorkel cruises, night manta ray snorkel, sportfishing, watercraft rentals, 12 moorings, pier, vessel washdown, and 30' wide launch ramp.
