Fishfinder

A fishfinder is an onboard electronic instrument that uses sonar to show fish, depth, bottom contour and underwater structure beneath or around a vessel. A transducer sends sound pulses into the water and the display converts returning echoes into a readable image for anglers and skippers.
For boaters, a fishfinder helps identify productive ground, reefs, drop-offs and bait schools while also improving situational awareness in shallow or unfamiliar water. When integrated with a Chartplotter, GPS and fishing marks, it supports repeatable drifts, safer approaches and more efficient Fishing decisions.
Fishfinder readings are most useful when combined with marine conditions: tide, current, sea temperature, wind and wave state all affect where fish hold and whether a location is safe to work. PredictWind forecasts, tidal data and Sea Temp Maps help crews choose favourable windows before committing fuel and time.
