The Yacht Club Bregenz marina offers protection against all winds for approximately 130 boats. Due to the layout of the dock, the port offers plenty of room for manoeuvres. In the harbour basin, there are two rigging buoys that can also be accessed by sailing. Access to the harbour entrance is east of the 74 sea mark. The eye-catching spot is the red and white lighthouse, which sits on a solid footing in front of the entrance. At night, the entrance is also illuminated in red and green. The concrete swimming jetty, which juts out diagonally into the harbour basin, has 15 guest spots with mooring lines on the east side. Other available spaces are marked in green or are assigned by the harbormaster. The harbour master's office is located in the guest dock extension. The marina is the largest port administered by the state capital, Bregenz. It has 391 moorings in the water and 86 dry moorings. Water moorings are limited to 140 moorings for motorboats over 15 hp. The western part is intended exclusively for scheduled shipping. The marina Bregenz is approached on a 180 ° course, at night the entrance is lit red-green and can be seen from afar, as it is attached to high stiles. In the far southeast corner of the harbour there is a guest jetty with mooring lines. Further guest places are available directly on the left side of the port entrance. In addition, there are 15 guest water moorings and 38 dry moorings in the harbour. You can apply for a new mooring (primary residence in Lochau) by completing the application form and submitting it to the Lochau municipality bank administration, for which you have to pay a one-time registration fee. All applications are placed on a waiting list. Moorings are assigned by date based on the order in which payment of the registration fee is received. People whose primary residence is in Lochau are taken into account first when assigning berths.
