O Jurujuba Iate Clube foi fundado em 05 de abril de 1958, reconhecido como de utilidade pública pela Deliberação nº 25954 de 30 de março de 1965 pela Câmara Municipal de Niterói, tendo seus Estatutos Sociais registrados no Registro Civil das Pessoas Jurídicas do Estado da Guanabara, em 20 de junho de 1958 e publicado no Diário Oficial.
