Island Park is located on Wilson Island between locks 7 & 8 of the Trent Waterway. This secluded twelve mile section of the river offers excellent sport fishing (muskie, pike, pickerel, bass and crappie) canoeing, and plenty of room for water sports such as water-skiing and parasailing. Docking is provided in a sheltered lagoon and your weekend will never be ruined by rough waters. Being part of the Trent-Severn Waterway offers the unique option of unlimited boating, as it is one of the longest stretches of open water between locks on the lower Trent River. With being situated directly on one of Canada’s most famous waterways, boat travel is unlimited as is ‘boat ogling”’ for some of North America’s finest cruisers pass our doorstep. Our docking facilities are excellent, featuring a sheltered inlet for smaller craft and river docking for larger boats. Our variety store has all of your convenience needs.
