About Nipigon Marina
Welcome to the Nipigon Marina, the most northerly freshwater port in North America! Nestled in the scenic beauty of Nipigon Bay, we offer a deep-water channel leading straight to our fully serviced marina. Boaters who cross the 49th parallel will receive a commemorative certificate marking this unique achievement. It’s an experience like no other, blending adventure with tradition. For paddlers, the Nipigon Marina is equipped with an EZ Launch Accessible Transfer System, making it safe and easy for kayaks and canoes to dock. Whether you're arriving on a vessel or paddling through, we are committed to providing accessibility for everyone. Our kiosk operates from June 1st until Labour Day, with convenient hours from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday. Alongside docking facilities, visitors can explore nearby hiking trails, enjoy fishing spots, and take in the stunning views of Nipigon Bay—rich in natural beauty and teeming with wildlife. When you visit, don't miss the chance to learn more about our history, community events, and how Nipigon Marina continues to serve as a gateway to unforgettable maritime adventures. We look forward to welcoming you!
