Valescaut, marina in Valenciennes Crossed by the Escaut Canal, Valenciennes is ideally located at the heart of the waterways of the Hauts-de-France Region and Belgium. The city still displays some ancient monuments, small streets and lively squares with numerous bars and restaurants. Walks or bike rides give the opportunity to discover the surroundings and particularly the mining heritage of the region registered on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The marina lies a short walk away from the city centre.
