In San Giorgio de Nogaro we caught the train to Venice which took less than an hour.

Great little marina with a restaurant and clean amenities. Be careful as the entry is shallow and there is a ride in the lagoon. The old town is fantastic and well worth a visit. Easy walk to town and shops. Chandlery nearby.

The Muggia Sailing Club is located in Muggia, a few minutes from Trieste and the neighbouring Slovenia. It is an amateur sports club aimed at promoting sailing through various activities: sailing school for children aged 6 to 14 years, laser competitive team and organizing yacht racing for cruisers and offshore boats. There is a restaurant open to members inside. The moorings are equipped with 100 berths located at the foot of the Muggia castle.
