The recreational port of Viana do Castelo consists of two docks. One, located downstream of the Eiffel metal bridge, with 163 berths for vessels up to 20 meters in length and 3 meters of draft. This dock has water, electricity, toilets and changing rooms, supply of fuel, tidal grid and a ramp for hauling boats. The other, located upstream of the same bridge, has 144 moorings for smaller vessels.
