About Passantenhaven Nieuwegein

The Passantenhaven is intended to offer passing pleasure craft the opportunity to spend the night. The port is conveniently located in relation to the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal, the Merwede Canal and the Lek. Every year, the port receives many passersby who do not want to miss the municipality of Nieuwegein during their cruise. In the marina, we have space for different types of boats. For boats up to 3.25 meters, we have space in our dinghy sailing pier where the boat can be pulled out of the water to remain on the pier. For boats over 3.25 meters, we have moorings in the water. The largest berth measures 15 meters by 3.80 meters. Our small marina, with berths for 40 boats, is located within the Middle Plas. This is a central place close to the drawbridge and right behind the apartments waterside and panoramic view. At the front side, of these apartments, is a big parking lot that is closed off with a barrier. The Baambrugse Zuwe divides the North- and South parts of the Vinkeveense Plassen, which are also called the Big and Middle Plassen. There is a Small Plas as well, this part of the Vinkeveense Plassen can be reached via the South Plas. Would you come over to VVP Verhuur/Visserslust with your boat? Jachthaven De Plashoeve B.V

Marina De Plashoeve is situated on the Noordplas of the Vinkeveense Plassen. The harbor offers good shelter, while you can quickly reach the open lake. WSV Plettenburg

WSV is a cosy water sports association that thrives on the efforts of many volunteers. We have a crane that can lift a maximum of 10 tons and a shed where maintenance can be done on the ships. Only in emergencies can this also be used by non-members. The entrance to the Nieuwegeinse Passantenhaven is located where the Vaartse Rijn and the Merwede Canal meet, a few tens of meters south of the port of WSV Plettenburg. The port of wsv De Peiler is located in a former sand pit on the south side of the Lek, about 3 km west of the old town of Vianen. Our water sports company is located in the former Lunenburgerwaard brick factory in Wijk bij Duurstede, a quiet area on the dead arm of the Rhine river.
