About Daytona Marina & Boat Works

A full-service marina and boat yard with a rich history dating back to 1903. Over the past century, this marina has served various roles, from being a transportation hub for the East Coast to a base camp for intracoastal waterway construction. It has also been a site for naval shipbuilding during World War Two, race boat construction, and both commercial and pleasure fishing boat building. Today, it operates as a boutique marina specializing in refurbishing pleasure boats. Located in downtown Daytona Beach on the west side of the Halifax River, the marina is locally owned and offers many modern amenities. It is conveniently situated within walking distance to the Downtown Daytona shopping district. This safe harbour is open year-round and offers annual, seasonal, monthly, and transient dockage. With over 100 slips, the marina can accommodate boats up to 200 feet in length. On-site staff and security provide fuel and other services 24 hours a day. Finding the marina is easy, whether by land or sea. It is located at 645 S Beach Street, about half a mile south of the Orange Avenue Bridge, between markers 39A and 40. The marina monitors VHF channel 16. The Daytona Beach Marina offers a comprehensive range of services to meet all boating needs. These include cleaning, refurbishing, painting, and engine work. Additional services such as boat catering, marina services, and 24-hour security ensure a comfortable and safe environment. Facilities include covered boat storage, clean bathrooms, a well-stocked ship store, a boaters' lounge, and on-site laundry. Fuel options include diesel and ethanol-free gas with Valvitec additive available 24 hours a day, along with a pump-out station. The marina features the Charthouse Restaurant for dining, Wi-Fi for connectivity, and a 55-ton travel lift. The full-service yard is staffed with on-site mechanics, painters, fabricators, detailers, and divers. Captain services and a yacht broker are also available.
