W.S.V. Vlaardingen

WSV Vlaardingen is located on the eastern side of the Oude Haven. From the Nieuwe Waterweg, enter Buitenhaven and check in at "Sluis Vlaardingen" via VHF 20 or by phone at 06-20 833 546. After blocking and passing the rail bridge and pedestrian bridge, you will find the WSV Vlaardingen on the side of the starboard. The Nieuwe Waterweg is by far the busiest shipping route in the Netherlands. Therefore, yachts must use a VHF radio to communicate with the traffic control centres that monitor traffic on the various routes. This means reporting to VHF 63 Sector Eemhaven before you leave Outer Harbor and stating what you are going to do. There is water and electricity at the jetties. Free toilets and showers are located in the "Midships" clubhouse. Access with the label issued by the port authority. The Liesveld supermarket and shopping centre are within walking distance of the harbour.
