Tambo River Jetty, Johnsonville

Public jetties available for 4 hour stays between 0800 and 1800 hrs, overnight stay allowed. The entrance to Tambo River can be shallow, about 1.2m at low tide I've experienced but the river itself is deep and wide enough for passing vessels quite easily. Great place to stay overnight especially if conditions in the lakes are poor. Boat ramp, hot showers (between 8am -8pm) and bbq facilities all available. Local shops about a 20 minute walk.
