Veleiros do Sul is located in an area of ​​approximately 18 hectares in the Cristal bay, on Lake Guaíba, in Porto Alegre. The Club has a complete nautical structure and that is why foreign navigators who venture into inland waters seek its harbor for shelter. Its 1.2 thousand members have modern facilities for motorboats, monotype and ocean sailboats. The vessels have an anchorage protected by an artificial jetty, signaled by a lighthouse that appears on Brazilian navigation charts. It has three reinforced concrete piers with berthing capacity for 190 large vessels. These warehouses have drinking water and electricity connections. The Club also has a large social lounge, themed nautical bar, barbecue restaurant, changing rooms, male and female accommodation and four apartments, electronic security system, a set of swimming pools, parks and gardens, in addition to a beautiful forest equipped with barbecue grills and complete facilities .
