The Port Authority is a non-profit legal entity with rights and obligations established by the Law on Maritime Property and Sea Ports ("Official Gazette" No. 158/03 and 141/06) and the County Decision on the Establishment of the Rovinj Port Authority ("Official Gazette of Istarska" No. 7 /97 and 1/99). The founder of the Rovinj Port Authority is the County of Istria. The Port Authority has a bilingual name, under which it performs its duties, operates and participates in legal transactions. The name of the Port Authority is: ROVINJ PORT AUTHORITY – AUTORITÀ PORTUALE ROVIGNO. The Port Authority was established to manage, build and use ports open to public traffic.

MARINA Marina Poreč

MARINA Marina Poreč Marina Poreč is located in Poreč, a small coastal town with rich history and cultural heritage, situated on the western coast of the Istrian peninsula. Poreč is often regarded as one of the most visited tourist destinations in Croatia. So, expect bustling crowds. Marina Poreč also gets crowded, especially in the high season. The town centre is just a 5-minute walk from the marina. The marina is well protected from winds and waves by the small island of Sveti Nikola (Saint Nicholas), as well as by the 160m long breakwater and 60m long pier, where the gas station and 5t crane are positioned. Although being mostly safe and well protected, swells are possible due to a strong north wind. The marina is open all year round. Marina Poreč has a total capacity 129 wet and 15 dry berths. All berths are provided with water and electricity. The depth of the sea varies from 1.5 m to 3.5 m along the breakwater and piers. The entrance to the marina is 150 m wide and 3.5 m deep. For boats with a larger draft (up to 3.5m), the west part of the marina is most suitable for mooring.

ACI Marina Umag

ACI marina Umag is located in the north part of the city port and it offers superb comfort to sailors. It is open all year round and it offers everything sailors need today for a pleasant stay and care for their vessels with its business orientation and capacities for vessels up to 60m long. ACI marina Umag has won the “Tourism Flower – Quality for Croatia” award and it is the proud winner of the Blue Flag. Approach When entering, special attention should be paid to Paklena Shoal, half a mile on the northeastern side of the entrance to the harbor. Paklena Shoal is marked by a lighthouse (Fl (2) WR 8s 10m 8/6 M), which can be used as a way point (45°26,5’ N 13°30,3’ E). The harbor is open to the northwest and one must enter it between a red lighted (Fl R 3s 2M) and green unlighted buoy. To the north, next to the red buoy there is a mark on a rock (black – yellow), which must be rounded from the south. When approaching, it is recommended to keep to a course of 60°. The light positioned on the breakwater (Fl (3) R 3s 8m 4M) is visible after passing the described buoys. The sea depth in the marked channel is 4 m.

ACI Marina Rovinj

ACI marina Rovinj is located on the southeastern side of the city port, the site of the best view of the old city centre and the Church of St. Euphemia, as well as the island of St. Catherine. It has been the central part of the beautiful landscape of the city for 34 years. With its appearance, position and content, ACI marina Rovinj has been at the top of Mediterranean nautical destinations for numerous sailors and their boats since the very beginning, and it intends to stay that way. In 2019, an all-encompassing reconstruction of the sea and land part of the marina was finished. The new ACI marina in Rovinj is a modern marina of superior design with the latest technological solutions and with all the services of the highest standards in global nautical tourism. Approach From the sea one can recognize Rovinj by the bell tower of the church of St. Euphemia standing on the hill in the middle of the peninsula, as well as the St. Katarina Island beneath the very town. Cape St. Euphemia is a marked by a lighthouse (Fl 4s 19m 7M) which can be used as a way point (45°05,0’ N 13°38,0’E). ACI marina Rovinj can be approached between St. Katarina Island and the town harbor breakwater. At the head of the breakwater is a lighthouse (Fl R 3s 7m 3M). Between the lighthouse and St. Katarina Island there is a shoal marked by a yellow-black conical buoy that has to be rounded from north. If we approach the marina from the south, we should hold to the marina breakwater which on its end is marked by a green lighthouse (Fl G 5s 7m 5M).

ACI marina Pula

The enormous natural harbour has been used since early Antiquity, and it served as the main naval harbour of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. In the very heart of this historic harbour, only metres away from the Arena, lies the 194- boat berth (moorings) ACI marina. Pula International Airport is only 5 km away. ACI marina Pula is a true city marina, located at the very heart of Pula. Also, it is the only marina on the Mediterranean that offers a unique view of the Roman amphitheater. Approach The harbour is located in a natural bay between the peninsula and the breakwater, which provides excellent protection. The safe entrance to the harbour is between the breakwater head (an extension of Cape Kumpar) which is marked by a green lighthouse (Fl G 3s 9m 6M) and Cape Proština which has a red lighthouse (Fl R 3s 9m 5M). The exact position of the Kumpar lighthouse is 44°53.2’ N 13°47.7’ E. Then steer towards the southern cape of Andrija Islet, where there is a green lighthouse (Fl G 2s 7m 1M). The islet can be rounded from both the southern and northern sides, and the passage between it and Katarina Island is well marked for a night approach (sail between two pairs of red and green lighthouses). After the passage another lighthouse, on Uljanik Island (Fl G 5s 7m 3M), shows the way to ACI Marina Pula. On rounding that lighthouse the marina comes into view. Attention should be paid to several iron buoys anchored intermittently along the approach course to the marina. The speed limit in the harbour is 8 knots. Note: It is recommended to use official navigational charts published by HHI Split: 100-16, 50-3 and MK-3.

ACI Marina Pomer

ACI Marina Pomer is situated in the deepest part of Medulin Bay, and it offers 294 wet berths and 30 dry berths. It underwent a comprehensive capital undertaking in 2016, which involved removing the old buildings and constructing a completely new land part. The Marina is open year-round and is surrounded by beautiful beaches, islands, and nature, making it an excellent starting point for cruising to the south. Today, ACI Pomer is a modern and beautiful marina with a Mediterranean feel. It features a new reception and exchange office, as well as an ATM, toilet facilities, and a separate section with accessible toilet facilities. Other amenities include a laundry, a grocery store that operates during the boating season, a charter agency, technical service, crane for boats up to 10 tons, premises for the crew, automated and guarded driveways, car parking, new electrical cabinets on dry berthing, a pumping station for pumping waste water from the vessels, and the latest WLAN internet access. The marina also has a new restaurant with a lovely terrace and a swimming pool with a pool bar. Additionally, ACI Pomer has a special storeroom where boaters can store their equipment, such as bicycles, scooters, surfboards, and outboard motors. The marina is equipped with electric power connections of 16 to 63 A, and it has "green islands" for selective waste collection. To approach the marina, it is recommended to sail through the main channel, east of the islet of Fenera (exact position 44°46.2’ N 13°57.2’ E), and then pass between the islands of Ceja and Bodulaš. As the sea is much shallower around Bodulaš Island, it is safer to sail closer to Ceja Island. Once inside the bay, steer toward the middle of the passage between Cape Munat and Cape Kašteja, and then toward the island of Pomerski Školjić, which should be rounded from the east. ACI Marina Pomer is sighted next, and in daylight, it is recognizable by a distinctive white crane. Marina Parentium

Marina in the green lagoon The Parentium marina is located in the Zelena Laguna holiday complex, right by the Parentium Hotel, 6 km from Poreč. The marina has 184 berths for boats from 3 to 20 meters in length, with a maximum draft of 5 m. All berths can use the electricity and water connections on the pontoon. Marina Parentium has its own workshop with mechanics, electricians, electronics technicians, plastics foremen, carpenters and others, as well as a 10-ton crane. The marina at Marina Parenitum also includes the following services: reception, restaurant, supermarket, sanitary facilities with hot water. In the vicinity are the hotels, the post office, sports, amusement and other recreational facilities, travel agencies, doctors, charter, etc.

Marina Cervar-Porat

Poreč north marine Marina Červar is located in the Červar-Porat holiday resort, 6 km north of Poreč. The marina has 259 berths for boats from 3 to 25 m, with a maximal draft of 5 m. All berths are provided with electricity and water on the pontoon. The marina has its own repair shop providing the services of mechanics, an electronics engineer, an electrician, a plastics expert, a joiner and other necessary personnel, and there is a 15-ton crane. Among other services provided at the marina and in town, there is a reception desk, two large toilet facilities with hot water, a restaurant, a hotel, a travel agency, various shops and supermarkets, exchange offices and a charter. The principal dangers in the approach to Marina Cervar-Porat are the shoals and islets of Mali Skolj and Veli Skolj, which extend nearly a mile off the headland at the S extremity of the bay of Cervar-Porat and are marked with buoys. The approach should be made from NW, leaving the S headland at least one mile to starboard if approaching from S. The short breakwater of the marina will be evident at the SE corner of the bay when close in. Shelter is reasonably good, although strong NW winds would probably make the outer berths at least very uncomfortable.

Marina Servis Plava

Marina Servis Plava is located in Molindrio bay, approx. 6 km south of the seaport town of Porec on the western coast of Istria. The yacht harbour at the top and the beach area of Plava Laguna-Brulo (blue lagoon) form the north peninsula of the bay. Marina Parentium is directly opposite. Marina Servis Plava is a small boat harbour which used to be part of a hotel complex and is privately managed today. Boats up to 8 m in length can moor at 80 berths here. In addition, 20 dry berths are available. No information available about availability of water and power or sanitary facilities. The closest fuel station is 2 nautical miles away in the town port in Porec. Shopping in the Marina Servis Plava In the southern part of the bay there is a larger supermarket in the hotel area as well as a small food store in Marina Parentium. In the beach area of Laguna-Brulo, stalls offer fresh fruit and vegetables and you can buy cold drinks and bakery products. This is, however, only suitable for short-term provisions. Food and leisure in Marina Parentium Not only is there a restaurant at the harbour, the beach at Laguna-Brulo also has a restaurant, a rotisserie, a snack bar as well as a cocktail bar. The blue bell tower and the small chapel in Molindrio bay are well worth a visit. At the beach, you can participate in water sports such as paddleboats, canoes, kayaks, jet skiing and diving. On land, you can hire bicycles, go horse-riding, play table tennis, minigolf, beach volleyball, boccia and tennis. Visitors can use the tourist beach tram to shuttle between Marina Porec and Zelena Laguna.

Marina Funtana

The marina in Funtana, built in 2003 in this tourist and fishermen village on the Istrian riviera, is open during the whole year. It disposes of 200 sea berths for boats of 5 to 30 meters of length. All the berths have double moorings, water and electricity points. The maximum depth at berths is 4 meters, while the minimum is 1.5 meters. The marina facilities include the reception, toilets and showers, café bars, parking places, laundry and a technical service, supermarkets and a charter service. Other services, including fuel supply, can be found at the marina Vrsar, about 1.5 nautical miles to the South. The landmark for entering the port is the village with its bell tower and the lighthouse positioned at the breakwater extremity. Because of numerous shoals, cliffs and reefs, yachtsmen are recommended to sail very carefully through the bay. The safest way to approach the Funtana’s harbour is from the West. Regulations for foreign navigators For sailing or docking in Croatian waters, a special permission is required. The only exceptions are the sport rowing vessels not longer than 3 meters, or up to 3 meters with an engine bellow 3.67 kW. After entering Croatian waters the vessel owner or captain has to dock in the nearest port for international sea traffic, to report the arrival and fill up the request for issuing a sails permission. Permissions can be time limited or unlimited, but there are no restrictions concerning the territory. The tourist tax amount varies according to the length of your permanence. Marina Vrsar

The village and port of Vrsar are located on the west coast of Istria and today is a famous tourist place with a developed catering and tourist offer. In front of Vrsar is one of the most beautiful archipelagos with eighteen uninhabited islands. There is also the Koversada naturist camp, which is considered to be the largest of its kind in Europe. We find the name of the city in various variants: Ursaria, Orsaria, Vrsarium. At the root, he preserved the old word ur, which means source. In the 5th century, a larger centre with an early Christian church was founded. The oldest building phase of the castle on the top of the hill, and the church of Sv. Foška from the 17th century and the three-nave basilica of St. Mary of the Sea. The church of Sv. Anton, Renaissance-Baroque style, and the parish church of St. Construction of St. Martin on the top of the hill began in 1804. And was not completed until 1935. Between the 12th and 17th centuries, there were salt pans and numerous quarries in the Vrsar Bay. Venetian palaces, bridges and churches rise from the Vrsar stone, the famous Pietre di Orsera. Here come the famous sculptors of that time (Leonardo Tagliapietra, Antonio Rizzo). It is also recorded that Vrsar was visited by Pope Alexander III in 1177, and in the 18th century on two occasions by the famous adventurer Giacomo Casanova.

Marine Valalta

The first and only naturist port on the Adriatic, to the satisfaction of naturist sailors has berths in the sea and on land, ideal for smaller sports boats but also for larger yachts. Lučica Valbandon

ORGANIZATION AND PORT OF VALBANDON The port of Valbandon has 458 berths along the coast and 8 at anchor. To enter the harbour you have to pass a bridge which is just 2 m. Valbandon is a tourist settlement situated on the southern coast of Istria and the fact that it is very close to Pula and the “Bi Village” camp, this is the perfect destination for families with children. At the same time, the closeness of the Brijuni National Park makes it an appealing tourist destination. Valbandon offers a special advantage for small children in its long pebble beaches which are perfect for children’s play, while the thick pine tree forest guarantees fresh air in the hot summer days. Every year, Valbandon hosts a festivity called “Valbandon ispod črpinje” (“Valbandon under a Dutch oven”), where traditional Istrian meals in a round dish meant for open-air cooking are prepared (lamb, octopus, various types of fish and others). In the traditional Istrian cuisine restaurants “Pineta Mare”, “Bi Village”, “Vala”, “Istarska Hiža”, „Becaccia“ you can taste the Istrian malvasia, and all along the Olive oil trail, you can enjoy the “divine elixir” which the Roman emperors considered the measure of perfection. Marina Mandrač

The marina is located in Kolodvorska ul. 7, 52100, Pula, Croatia Small harbor in Pula, near center with no infrastructure. A nice quiet marina for private boat owners. You must be a current renter or have permission to use this for docking your boat. The entrance to each dock is locked and you must have a key to enter. Video surveillance at each entrance. Over time, Mandrač in Novigrad became the central part of commercial activities as a small fishing port for local boats and fish trade. Novigrad, thanks to its long fishing tradition, is closely connected with its local population who gather in Mandrač Bay to this day, enjoying seafood and socializing every day with good wine and good music. Today Novigrad is a small fishing village with rich cultural and historical heritage, authentic Istrian cuisine, beautiful coastline, clean sea and various sports facilities.

Port Bunarina

Working hours: September 1st to June 30th – 7am to 3pm July 1st to August 31st – 7am to 9pm The recreational craft skipper is obligated to check in at the reception and to produce the vessel’s documents upon arrival at the port, and to check out before departing from the port. When entering and/or leaving the port, there is a 3 knot speed limit. The mooring in the harbour must be performed safely, with proper ropes of the appropriate dimensions. If a vessel is not properly moored, it will be done by an employee of the Port Bunarina. The recreational craft user i.e. owner must take care of the recreational craft moored at the port and he/she will be held responsible for any damage caused by the recreational craft to other vessels, the shore, equipment, devices or appliances. The boat whistle and the flag bunting may be used in the port only with a prior consent of the Port Authority, except in the event of emergency and danger or during manoeuvring. When a vessel is in the port, there must be as many crew members onboard as needed for safely manoeuvring the recreational craft in case of danger. By arriving to the port, the owner / commander of the recreational craft is considered to have accepted the Rules for the Maintenance of Order in the Port Bunarina. All complaints can be registered in the book of complaints at the reception desk. The marina part of the port is located on the north-eastern side – the piers 11, 10, 9, 8, 7 and the shore D. In the picture, the yacht berths are marked with red, the municipal moorings with blue and the operational dock with yellow. The temporary marina part of the port is on the shore B in front of the administrative building of the Reception. The Rules for the Maintenance of Order regulate the terms and methods of maintaining order in the port. The depths at the berths range between 1 and 10m. Berths are possible for recreational crafts up to 15m. Marina Veruda

Porto Volme

Nice little marina! We have our sailing boat moored here from almost the very beginning and facilities are getting better each year. Despite huge changes and improvements, it somehow still retained its original charm. Volme is an Istrian village located on the peninsula of Premantura, the last farthest part of Istria, a few kilometers from Pula. Here you can find various commodities (pharmacy, food, bank, fuel distribution) and as in most of the Istrian coast, now highly touristy, you can find many services such as: rental of cars and water scooter, there is also the possibility of practicing a great number of sports including diving. In the area are highly appreciated by the tourists, the cycle paths connected by different tracks and that allow long and interesting ride immersed in nature. The peninsula of Premantura is one of the most beautiful natural environments of the completely Istrian peninsula and intact also, thanks to the establishment of a "protected area". The flora is very developed and there are many species of orchids. On the coast, there are caves and islets and the beaches are rocky. The port of Volme is located in Paltana Bay (Porto Olmo Grande). The bay is very large, in recent years, this area has been built a lot, but you can still see open yards. The marina is part of a much larger complex consisting of villas and apartments. You can moor here, but first you have to stop at the station of the dock where you will find the manager who will address you in a marina mooring, where you can pay, even on one-day fee. Coming from the south, it is advisable to stay west, off and far from the Power lighthouse with white flashing light (3 seconds), considering that Istria depth contour is full of rocks and a shelving bottoms; in this area sometimes occurs the phenomenon of Crossed sea with very irregular currents reaching up to 3 knots. For those who want to go east, make a visit the island of Feloniga, where there are dinosaur prints, but be careful and approach the area only with very calm sea and days with great visibility.

Marina Medulin has 85 berths in the sea. Water and electricity (220V) are provided for each berth as well as toilette use, free Wi-Fi and one parking place. The piers and the whole marina area are guarded for 24 hours. The depth of the piers is 1.50 m to 2.80 m. Maximum length of vessels is 19,99 m. The entire marina is secured and under constant video surveillance.

Marina Polesana Pula

The amazing Brijuni national park is near the marina. The entire Istria county is famous for its gastronomic offer, history and cultural events throughout the year. It is ideal for weekend boat journeys or weekend regattas. Pula is only 30 nautical miles away from the islands of Unije and Susak and as you sail further south, there is the island of Cres, Lošinj, Ilovik and the number of small islets you pass by en route to the island of Dugi otok and finally the most desirable of sailing destinations – Kornati national park. 4 floating jetties with just over 250 berths in the water and almost 50 dry berths. The permit also includes nautical service facilities, reception, bar, restaurant, storage rooms, sanitary facilities and parking lots.

N 45°19′ – E 13°33′ Port and seasonal border crossing open from April 1 to October 31. It is protected from all winds except W and NW. There is an operational quay for boarding passengers up to the customs wharf. And towards the inner part, a place for a floating taxi. The public transport port of Novigrad is intended for berthing, anchoring and protection of vessels up to 500 GT, i.e. vessels with a draft of up to 4.00 meters, for loading and unloading of passengers and goods, and for other economic activities that are in mutual economic, traffic relations with these activities and technological connection. Very easy port of entry. The dock is low, so it's better to have your fenders set lower. Customs were on the dock and the harbour master was across the road. Port of entry process took about 10 minutes. Very friendly and accommodating (open 24 hours / 7 days during peak season). The pier can be found on the starboard (note the fairway buoy and single point of danger), leaving the outer breakwater and the customs pier on starboard. After consultation, you can also moor the ship for a short time to do small things in the city. Staff can be found here every day from 8 a.m.

THE PORT OF FOUNTANA

The port is located about 2.8 miles south of the port of Poreč, between capes Jurina and Grgetov rt. The Port Authority is a non-profit legal entity with rights and obligations established by the Maritime Property and Sea Ports Act ("Official Gazette" 158/03, 100/04, 141/06, 38/09, 123/11, 56/16, 98/19 ) and the Decision on the establishment of the Poreč Port Authority ("Official Gazette of the Istrian County" no. 7/97, 2/09, 27/14, 2/17 and 9/18). The founder of the Poreč Port Authority is the County of Istria. The port area of the Poreč Port Authority includes: - Port of county significance: Poreč, - Ports of local importance: Vrsar, Funtana, Červar Porat and Vrh Lima, Santa Marina, - Separated port areas - anchorages: cruiser anchorage and Busoja bay, - Separated port areas - wharves and docks: pier of the "Funtana" hotel. The Port Authority was established to manage, build and use ports open to public traffic.

LUKA Zambratija

The port of public traffic Zambrati is intended for the docking and anchoring of smaller vessels with low draft and for the performance of other economic activities.

Port Ribarska koliba

The port is a safe hideout in all winds, and is located in the bay east of the port of Bunarina. The port of Ribarska koliba is located in the naturally protected bay of Verudela, adjoins the port of Bunarina and is one of a total of 13 port areas managed by the Port Authority of Pula. It represents a safe hiding place for the boats of the locals, and after the completion of all works, there will be a total of 17 moorings for vessels from 6 to 12 m in length.

Snorkelling is possible, but because this is a bay/harbour, the water is cloudy (visibility less than 1 meter). No place to sup. Dixie toilets, shower, changing cubicles and a bar with very friendly service and very fair prices for food and drinks. Plus a perfect ambiance.
