Website: sv-glueckstadt.de 🚢 Arrival & Docking Instructions The Barrier (Sperrwerk): Access to the inner harbour is protected by a tidal barrier. It opens approximately 3 hours before to 3 hours after high water (HW). Berthing: Guest berths are indicated by green signs. Red signs indicate a private or reserved berth—do not moor there. Fees: If the Harbour Master is not available, payment is made via the envelope system located at the "Hafenbüro" mailbox (include boat name and duration). ⚓ Facilities Fresh water and electricity (230V) available on jetties. Sanitary facilities (showers/toilets) are located in the "Alte Mühle" building. The marina is located in the heart of the historic town with immediate access to supermarkets and restaurants. ⚠️ Navigation Note Currents: The Elbe River has strong tidal currents (up to 4 knots) right outside the harbour entrance. Maintain steerage way when approaching the outer piers. Ferry Traffic: The Glückstadt-Wischhafen ferry crosses the river constantly; stay clear of its path when entering or exiting the Elbe fairway.
