WSV De Nieuwe Haven is a friendly water sports club located in the heart of Schiedam. We are easily accessible from the canal through the outer lock and the main bridge. Via the Schie, you navigate through the old Schiedam. We have moorings of up to 20 meters and there are almost always moorings available, both for transients and new members. You will find supermarkets and restaurants 5 minutes away, but you can also walk directly into the centre of Schiedam. Schiedam has several places of interest worth visiting, such as the municipal museum, the jenever museum and several windmills, including the tallest windmill in Europe. Our marina (accessible via the Waterweg or Delftseschie) located in the centre of Schiedam is a great place to stay for pleasant visits (within walking distance) of various Schiedam sights such as the municipal museum, the jenever museum, several windmills including the tallest mill. from Europa Ketel 1, the historic center, and with the whisper (or own boat) you can take a beautiful cruise through the Schiedam canals
